When will registration open?
Registration will open on May 1st, and will close on August 24th.
Will you allow late registrations?
Not currently, registration will close on August 24th, in order for us to prepare for the event and ensure Camp Opemikon orders enough food.
Can I cancel my registration?
No, as we will need to pre-purchase items and provide Ope with our expected numbers, we will not be permitting cancellations at this time.
Do you need to know exactly who is coming? Can I change attendees?
Yes, we need to know who is coming as this is a Scouting event, at a Scouts Canada property. We may allow for a registration transfer, depending on how early it is requested.
Can Youth Scouters attend?
YES!
Youth Scouters are Scouters for this event, and we'd love to see as many attend as possible. As a youth-driven program, this is an amazing opportunity for them to share, and gain, knowledge of the Scouting program and what's available in Voyageur Council.
Can prospective Scouters attend?
YES!
This is an amazing opportunity for prospective Scouters to come and see the amazing community we have, meet other enthusiastic members of the worldwide Scouting organization, and to spend time with you - without youth!
As a prospective or pending volunteer who wants to attend the Voyageur Scouter Expo, we will require additional information from you before confirmation your participation and attendance. In exchange, there will be opportunities for you to complete some of your registration or onboarding steps at the event while also learning about the fantastic programs we have available.
The Scout Group you are looking to join must attend with you, and be responsible for you during the event, since you're not yet a registered member of Scouts Canada.
