Crazy Campsite - Levels 1 & 2

Think you know how to set up a campsite? Or maybe you’ve secretly wondered if that stove really can sit on a slope (spoiler: it can’t). Join us for Crazy Campsite — a hands-on, lighthearted training session that will leave you laughing and feeling way more confident about camping with youth.

We’ll explore:
✔ The difference between a Beaver/Cub campsite (cute chaos) vs. a Scout/Venturer site (controlled chaos)
✔ Where to put your stove, water jugs, and snack stash (without feeding the wildlife)
✔ Safety prep with our “time machine” countdown to camp
✔ Tent setup practice (because yes, pegs do matter!)
✔ Simple programs and free time ideas for when your carefully planned activity blows away in the wind

Plus, we’ll make a camp snack together — because no one should train on an empty stomach. 🍪

By the end, you’ll have the tools, tricks, and confidence to turn campsite chaos into camping success.

Level 1 – Introduction to some of the hard skills for your camp site. Mostly aimed at Colony and Pack.

Level 2 – Taking your skills further, with less access to amenities, small group cooking (Patrol) and expanding the camping trip to something more adventurous.

✨ Come join the fun and discover that “Crazy Campsite” doesn’t have to mean your campsite!
